What is Boswellia Carterii Oil?

Boswellia Carterii Oil is an essential oil derived from the resin of the Boswellia carterii tree, native to the dry regions of India and the Arabian Peninsula. It is obtained through steam distillation of the oleo-gum-resin exuded from incisions in the tree bark. Renowned in traditional medicine and perfumery, it is used in skincare for its purported anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and regenerative properties.

Skin protecting
Forms a barrier to protect skin from external irritants.
Skin conditioning agent
Maintains skin softness, smoothness, and flexibility.
Soothing
Helps reduce the feeling of discomfort and visible irritation by supporting skin calmness, often through anti-irritant, barrier-supporting, or cooling mechanisms.
